3.9. Add conditions to activate steps
To allow you even more flexibility when creating your scenario, you have the possibility to add as many custom conditions that needed on each step activation.
Every time you link steps together or you activate a step, you can add conditions to it, based on 3 categories:
- Step condition: base the activation of the step depending on the status of another step. Example: has the step already been completed ? Is the step currently displayed ? etc.
- Option condition: base the activation of the step depending on decisions made by the user or options he choose. For example: display the step only if the user selected “Option A”.
- Variable condition: base the activation of the step depending on the value of a variable. For example: display this step only if the variable “Leadership” is above 50.
To add a condition to an activation, simply go to any activation in your scenario (i.e: in the “Activation” tab, on an option, on an item…) and click the “CONDITION” button.
There you can choose the condition category and select the items to verify. Once your condition is set, it gets automatically verified and applied to that steps activation.
You can add as many conditions as you need.
