3.2. Add a question
The questions are the contents that structures a page. A page without questions will be empty.
You can add as many questions as you want in a page.
Click on the trash icon to delete a question or on the double arrow icon to re-organise the order of the question.
There are 6 type of questions available in Qigu rate.
For every question, select your corresponding type in the dropdown, customize the text to be displayed, and if available:
- Turn on “Mandatory" to make the question mandatory for the user
- Choose the way you want the results to be displayed at the end
- Click “add option" to add an option and to customize it
1. Display text only
This item displays plain text on the page. You can use it to describe something and give indications to the user. This item is not a question as the user doesn"t have the ability to give any answer.
2. Radio button
The radio button question-type displays a question with multiple options to the user, and allows him to choose one answer only by clicking on the related boxes.
3. Check box
The "check box" question-type displays a question with multiple options to the user, and allows him to choose multiple answers by clicking on the related boxes.
The "slider" question-type displays a question to the user, with a slider that allows him to choose one answer amongst the options offered to him by moving a cursor on an horizontal slider line.
5. Text input
The "text input" question-type displays a question to the user, and allows him to answer by redacting a text.
6. Assessment question
The "assessment question" displays a question to the user and allows him to choose one answer only among the options offered to him by clicking on the related boxes.
Assessment options labels have default values, which can be edited in the settings page (learn more about the settings page here) :
- Don"t know
- Strongly Disagree
- Strongly Agree
This question type allows the system to automatically create a downloadable report for users based on these default values (find an example here).
